Ramadan Diaries: Getting our act together, Day 03

Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemIn the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

@ssalamoalekum!
Yesterday, some accomplice of Shaytan (since he has been locked up in chains himself this season) was at my place at around Fajr time. Each one of us had multiple alarms set up to awaken us for Seher but we all slept in late. My younger sister was suddenly awakened by some weird dream and she created a pandemonium all over the place. We were going to miss our fasts! Next, my brother emerged from his room, sleepy-eyed and clueless, and announced that there were still 30 min. left for the Seher time to close and so we'd go for it. My mother and I switched on our fast forward modes and got going to save the day, or the Roza I'd rather say! I do not know how we put everything together and everybody finished eating in the limited time that we had! SubhanAllah, it was definitely the angels, floating about and helping us manage everything.
Moral: When you get your act together and intend sincerely to beat the daylights out of Shaytan (the Devil), Allah (swt) Himself and His angels commit to supporting your struggle.

So, each one of us should get our act together and dedicate our daily struggle towards defeating the Devil. Since he's in chains this season he'd have a hard time stopping us. There's a lot of positivity showering in upon us since the gates of Heaven are open and Allah (swt)'s blessings are nonstop pouring over our injured souls. We should make the most of it, inshAllah.
